Comment:
We had to re this one during drafting as General Tao had uber lag so he was replaced - hence the replay is -ap.
As expected, this was an incredible game in many regards.
Lion and wl played awesomely to keep luna down - with her minimal attack range, they kept plugging away at each attempt Demon made to come forward to creep.
Early-Mid game Demon was still struggling to farm, with perma gangs - which was wp by D4.
25 mins in Shau drops which was a huge blow to us. :/ With him gone, warding was extinct for the rest of the game. X_x Which D4 took full advantage of in ganging our bushes every so often.
Edge being on his laptop mentioned he had severe mouse-jumps at the worst of times, so that didn't help. :/
D4 did well to hold-hands (not one my fav terms, there's gotta be something better
) which saw luna/bambi fall a number of times while they were bushing mid-late game.
There were a few crutial errors by us which "gave" the raxes away - one being the battle in the middle of the map (middle lane, at the river). Was my fault for blink/ulti'ing in when es didn't have his ulti ready - epic fail in communications. :/
Another being where Luna and bambi were out pushing the bot lane all the way to Scourge's 2nd tower late game - in a 4v5 game, going that deep with only 2 peeps is suicidal (as Legend and I were stopping the creep-push in the top and mid lanes - as mid was already raxed by D4). :/
D4 having DP made early game a nightmare for me. >_< On that note, it was the team's decision not to elim DP while I was strongly for it. But Edge is right, we need to practice new things. Anyway, as I was saying... early-game, being haxed by Rhasta, DP's ulti went to town on me before I managed to get my ulti off. Phase boots only got me so far before 'em ghosts did me in. X_x
Kudos to Legend for farming up imba - getting a Blink, Guinsooz and TP Bootz. Sadly, it's gotta be said, the carry Luna was nowhere near as imba with her items. Demon was complaining of the perma gangs but there really should have been a way - like creep stacking, which was ommited. :/
On a personal note, I felt I got my heart a lil too late.
Oh, before I forget... Kudos to Silent Wolf for playing a kick ass wl. Getting Refresher relatively early - which greatly helped in D4's efforts in tower pushing, also provided the double mass mini-stun during landing. We had no1 to get purge stick for the quick elim so that made life difficult.
In the end, a few miscalculated battles saw us even further down on the numbers which opened the door for D4's pushing power to do the necessary damage.
gg vwp guyz!
Would love to have more of these kinda intense games, minus the "rAge quiting" by shau ofc.
>_< lol
I learnt a lot from this one, and hope the rest of DuC has too.
An epic way to end the Candy Cup tourney.
Thanks again for hosting it Ratthing/Rocka, had a blast. ^_^

Re: DuC vs D4RK (Candy Cup #1, Game 7 - 19 May 09)
Thanks 4 posting NeoN.
Finally after far too long we actually win something. Was a definately a gg.
Up to the point when Shau dropped, I think we had a slight advantage, but there's no telling what would have happened since Tide and ES didnt have their blinks yet. Once they got them, they really cause nightmares for us with some really well timed blinks that were very hard to counter.
DuC put up a really good fight 4v5, but in the end like Neon said, a few crucial mistakes cost them.
I wasn't farming as well as I should have and spent just a little bit too much time running around, which had me a bit worried since DuC were outfarming us plus had bonus gold. In my opinion Kreo ulti is a little too overpowered and gave us the edge in team battles.
Looking forward to our next game

Rofl @ Them making doni ward when he is their best player imo.

Yeah dp is a match winner, but i wanted to try the ES... haha
And the mid lane must have been a nightmare for the DP against the bambi.....i could free farm without a problem

Kotl would've worked better imo.If you solo'd a kotl, you wouldnt have to concentrate too much on last hitting as well as you'll farm a guinsoo and BoT way faster then bambi. Then you could've gone shivas/heart/deso and it would be a G_G.
LoL @ the irony,me telling u to pick kotl \
