We had bvd, D4 and MKB in our group.

Game 1 (DuC vs bvd)

Comment:
This was a fun game...

Knowing we were "most likely" going to lose... ...we went with a ridiculous k/d push-strat. Being bvd, they farmed like crazy, so we had no chance in a straight-up hero fight this game. >_<

At one stage it was looking great for us, with all three lanes just touching bvd's level 3 towers. That's the part I choose to remember from this game. lol

Game 2 (DuC vs MKB)

Top: Dirge/Zues - Ogre magi/Mag
Mid: DP - Morph
Bot: Necrolyte - cm/lich
Bush: Axe / --

Comment:
MKB went with a very unconventional strat, choosing old-school mag as well as Ogre Magi. Oo

Early game, Necro had it rough against that cm/lich combo - wp to the two of them, they chain-combo'd well. If you're still dying demon, you're not playing defensive enough. >_<

Duc having DP and Dirge, we dominated team-battles.

Sadly 21 mins in their carry Morph drops - read after the game that he ran outta cap. X_x Their strat was to pump up Morph with all the buffs they had... lich/mag/OM.

Game 3 (DuC vs D4RK)

Comment:
With D4 having issues getting players, this game was delayed quite a bit. Than when we finally got going I think some1 dropped 3-4 mins in. >_< So we played MKB 1st and came back to this after.

D4 had a solid lineup, netting tried-and-tested Skele/Lina and cm/jugga lanes. The Stig being "the stig" played a mean Eskom. D4 played a wicked early game, keeping the pressure up.

Mid-late game, once I died, the remaining four managed an awesome push of bot lane - taking no prisoners.

Legend played one kick-ass Naix.

Gotta say, the final hero k/d doesn't reflect the game properly - or maybe it's just me and my Axe.

ggwp D4. Glad we could get a 5v5 going. ^_^

Round 2, Game 1 (DuC vs HaXx)

Wow! Didn't realise just how many Axe bushes I've played in the tourney. >_<

Eish, I played an incredibly bad Axe this game. X_x Which resulted in fail levels and items. :/ I managed to stop Bane from getting ruins early-game but it looked like he did just fine with 'em.

HaXx ganged like champs, and farmed up with the same status.

Having "healers" in all three lanes made for an awesome combo for HaXx. Puck solo against Morph/Necro meant the Morph farmed with minimal hindrance. Shau was reluctant to play cm, not sure if it showed in his gameplay. >_<

I think 20 odd mins in we lost all 3 level 1 towers and HaXx had complete map-control.

Bane was a very nice choice, and wp too - stopped Naix and Axe in their tracks while the teamies clean up house.

Obs Des was chosen as a nuker of sorts - but never really got farmed up. :/

THat BvD game was a shocker . Wd on getting into the winners bracket although it didn't last too long.

Very wp too haxxx making 4th place.Wd on beating mmk.Impressed.

Yeah cant believe bvd played so shit in the final. Void was a bad pick. Midas instead of MoM on void was just as bad.

Way things were going,blizzy couldn't afford to go the midas route.Very bad decision on his behalf.
