Hey guys, what u think of my website: http://blackrock.web44.net/

I created it for an assignment I'm doing on a course about internet and webdesign.

Not to be negative, but your layout and styling needs some work.

If its a first project its not bad... but it would not be to standard on what clients would expect if you were working on a professional site. The information is also badly laid out. And secondly I found it boring... there is nothing to draw you to the site or make it stand out at all... if you are going to use it to market your work i'm afraid your going to be needing some of the more visually pleasing effects that are available for web design... i also found the loading of the site to be slow ... but I didn't really check to see if that was because of design or because of host.

But i'm sure with some work you'd be able to make a nice site out of it... good luck.

[Edit] I also didnt check for w3c standards either... which is another thing to keep in mind

eish Omni. There goes all my web creating confidence... , jokes, I know its all constructive.

I know a lot of what u saying is true. Although the plain design is like that on prupose though. You're looking at it from a designers point of view where as i built it from a purely marketing point of view, where content is king and unneccessary designs simply distract users from what you have to say.

Admititedly though it definately needs work to make it look prettier.
