Strange items on crix tho, BF??? no blink??? You really dont need BF with caustic finally. Also if you that desperate for mana rather get a shivas

Also vangaurd is a bad item on tide. It has very bad synergy with kraken shell.

No, only stout/vanguard OR kraken will proc; if Vanguard comes in kraken doesn't do anything. And since block damage is chosen in reverse order, getting vanguard before the skill will make the skill proc first, and since Kraken is 100%, vanguard will be effectively 0%. It definately does not stack, tested it myself, and you can also find this in the mechanics forums.
